Happy Birthday and good news
Today is my 27th Birthday, wow I am getting old. Well I had a great birthday. We had a follow up ultrasound in the morning and everything is looking great. Riley is about 1 lb 10oz. He is growing like he should and the cyst has not grown or changed in size at all. YEA. we will continue to watch it for the rest of the pregnancy. Dan, my mom and Leslie were all at the appointment which was very nice. After the appointment my sister and brother in law took me to breakfast and then a movie. I had another Doctors appointment in the afternoon and that went good as well. The Doctor said everything is great. Later that evening Dan took me out for a birthday dinner to of coarse my favorite place, Olive garden. By the end of the day I was so tired and I went home and straight to bed. I have to say it was a great birthday I got to see alot of the people I love and those I didn't get to see called, including dad who was the first and who also sang to me. I told him he should quit his job and become a singing telegram.

Rachel's Wedding
Today we had Rachel's wedding. It was so good to see Rachel and hang out with her. We have not seen each other since my wedding in march 07. She looked so beautiful like she always does. we had a lot of fun while she was home. Her and Joe are so cute together and I am so happy for them. Rachel and Joe went back to Oklahoma but I can't wait for July because Rachel will be back. She is going to live with her parents for a couple months while Joe goes to school. I am so happy she will be here for the end of my pregnancy and hopefully when Riley is born.

24 Weeks
I am now 24 weeks. This is a very important week because it means the baby is now viable. There are good chances if RIley is born now that he will live, but we want him to say in much longer. This is just another huge milestone in pregnancy and I am very happy to make it here. Only 16 weeks left. YEA

Welcome mom, Good bye Frances
Connie flew in on Saturday night and we had the family over for a BBQ to say goodbye to Frances. Frances is moving to Virginia with mom. They are driving all the way there. It was nice to have everyone over. We are really going to miss Frances but we know we will see her often. Good luck to mom and Frances in there cross country road trip.

23 weeks
I am 23 weeks this week. I have been back to work for a week now and I am loving it. I am taking it easy when I am at home so still pretty boring but worth it. I know how much I need to take care of myself and baby Riley. Today was a sad day because we had to send Travis back to Iraq. It was so nice having him home. we had a lot of fun the time just went to fast. Travis, Marie, mom and I all went to breakfast in the morning and then I went with Marie to take him to the airport. The airport gave us boarding passes so we could walk him to his gate. We hate the airport and saying goodbye. Only 9 months and he is home for GOOD. Please keep Travis in your thoughts and prayers everyday.

Back to Work
I have been cleared by the doctor to go back to work and as long as I don't have any more contractions I can keep working. It is so nice to be back to work. I love my job and I was starting to become really bored at home. Everything with the pregnancy is NOW going OK. keep your fingers crossed that it will continue that way. I talk to Riley everyday and tell him to be a good boy. So far he is listening to his mommy.
Introducing Baby Riley Joseph Golbeck
We want to share with all of you the name of our baby boy. His name is Riley Joseph Golbeck. Here are some pictures of our last ultrasound. Our next Ultrasound is on my Birthday May 28th so we will post the new pictures of him then. One of the pictures shows a side profile view of his head and the other is a face first shot, look close you can see his nose and mouth.
Happy Mother's Day
It was nice waking up and getting a dozen roses and my very first mother's day card from my husband Dan. This was very special to me and made me realize how close I am to being a mother. I also got a sweet card for the "mom to be" from my brother, sister-in-law and niece. Dan and I hung out all morning and in the afternoon dad, mom,Travis, Leslie and Sean came over and we went out to the Rock for dinner. We also celebrated my dad's B-day. we had a great time. My mom had a great mothers day as well especially because Travis was home for Iraq.

Bed Rest
Because of my scary trip to the hospital my Dr. has but me on bed rest. I have been taking it easy since 4/28/08. I just saw the Dr. again the other day and will be taking it easy for one more week, then hopefully I can go back to work. We are just being very cautious because I am only 21.5 weeks pregnant. The contractions have slowed way down but I am still feeling them daily. We are asking everyone to keep us in their thought and prayers.
