Riley's first and hopefully last ear infection
I took Riley to the doctor today because he has not been feeling well. Turns out he has an ear infection. Poor little guy. We got antibiotics and hopefully he will start feeling better.

Happy Thanksgiving.
This is Riley's first thanksgiving. We went to my dad and mom's house and had a really nice dinner with the family. We got Riley a cute bib that says Grandmas little Gobbler. The food was great and we all had a good time hanging out and playing rock band. Riley can't wait for next year when he can eat Turkey.

Grasping toys
Riley has found his hands and he is starting to use them, He puts his hands in his mouth all the time. He has also been grasping toys. Tonight he grabbed his toy with both his hands and brought it up to his mouth for a taste. It was so cute. he loved grabbing it over and over and then liking it with his tongue.
WOW he is getting so big
Weekend at Papa Jack and Omi's
Dan and I had to work all weekend so Riley went to my parents for the whole weekend. This was so hard for me and Dan as well, We missed our little boy so much. The house was so quiet when we were home. It was so weird not to have him there. My parents had so much fun with Riley and they love having him over. He hung out with his Omi and watched HGTV and hung out with papa and watched football. Check out the pictures of Riley hanging with papa.

He rolled over
So everyone around the world is talking about the news of the presidential election but not us. Our big news today is that Riley rolled over for the first time. He was on his tummy and he rolled to his back. It took him a few minutes to complete the turn which was a good thing because I had time to run and get the camera. Dan and I were both there and were so excited. Check out the pictures and the video. Our little boy is getting so big.
Back to work
The time has flown by and the day I was dreading came so fast. My maternity leave is over and I had to go back to work. A very small part of me wanted to go back, mostly to get a paycheck and I do love my job, but I wish I could stay at home with my little boy forever, My mom stayed over the first night to help and to watch Riley the next day so I could sleep. The nice thing is we have family and friends that will help so Riley wont have to go to daycare. Riley is doing pretty good sleeping at night so hopefully it wont be to bad for Daddy. I started crying about 30 minutes before I had to leave and cried on the way there. At work I kept thinking about him non stop and I was so excited to see him in the morning. Although it sucks to be away from him I know I have to. I hope that it will get easier. Another evening position opened up so I applied for that and I am praying that I will get it. Please keep your fingers crossed for me.
