The Party

We had so much fun at Riley's B day party. Family and friends came over to the house and we all had a great time. Riley had his own little blue cake and he loved it. I think he ate almost all of it.

First time in a Lake

We went to a picnic for my moms work and as soon as Riley say the Water he pointed and had a big smile on his face. He loves the water but this was his first time in a Lake. He had no fear what so ever. He ran right in and would have kept going if I let him. He loved every minute.

Riley gets his hair cut

Riley's hair has been getting very long so we decided to get it cut. And His Birthday was the perfect day. He is one now and getting to be a big boy, so we went and got him a big boy hair cut. He did so good. He didn't even cry, and neither did I. It turned out so good. We love it.

Riley's all day Birthday celebration.

Riley had a very busy Birthday. Dan and I took Riley to a Birthday Breakfast and Riley got pancakes and whip cream with a candle and the waitress sang him Happy Birthday. After breakfast we went and Riley got his first hair cut. Then Dan went to work and Riri and I played. In the afternoon my mom and I took Riley to get his pictures taken and Omi brought the birthday boy a special cake and balloons. He got to eat the cake at his pictures and he loved it. After Pictures we went to Red Robin and Riley had a birthday diner and ice cream for dessert. He also got to hear the Birthday song again. He had a very busy but fun Birthday and he loved every second of it. When we got home we took his picture at exactly time he was born.. 8:26 PM . After that he went to bed ( I think he had a sugar high). I passed out to, man what a day.

A year Later

I can't believe my baby is one

Wow. A year has gone by so fast. I can't believe that my little baby born weighing 6lbs 15 oz is now a walking, talking little boy. This year has had its ups and downs but is has been one of the greatest years of my life. Becoming a mom is so much more than I expected. I always knew I wanted to be a mom but what I didn't know is how much I would love it. Becoming a mom has been challenging but has taught me so much. I have become more patient and more loving. The best days are when I can just be at home with my family and play. I never knew how much a parent worries about their child and the passion in their hearts to do any and everything for their child. My love grows stronger for Riley every single day. I didn't think that this was possible because when he was born and I held him for the first time I fell in love instantly and I didn't think my heart could grow any larger, but it continues to grow everyday. Riley is my first born child, my baby, my buddy and I love him so very much.

Riley loves balls so his Omi got him a ball pit. It is a blow up bus and it is filled with balls. As soon as I blew it up his eyes got big and he was so excited. He jumped right in and went crazy.

Birthing Ballers BBQ

To celebrate our season on no wins and a lot of games lost we had a BBQ at the Poe's house. We had good food, good company, good fun. We played in the water and eat lots of ice cream. All the kids had a great time too.
