Last year of my 20's

We all got together for my B-day and went to Iron Chef.

It was such a fun time
and a yummy dinner

I was so happy to have my family share this special day with me.

This was a great Birthday

Surrounded by all the people I love.

Next year is the

My favorite cake is Rainbow chip.

Since it was my Birthday I decided to make some cupcakes.

Riley was very excited about it when I told him

He kept running around saying

"Cupcake"

It was so cute. I don't know if he even knew what it was.

But when we started he had a blast.

He was such a good helper.

He loved being mommy's helper

He had so much fun and had a smile on his face the whole time.

I have been thinking about changing my hair style for awhile

and finally decided what I wanted.

Since it was my Birthday I thought it would be the perfect day.

I went short.

Very short.

I have not had my hair this short in YEARS.

I was a little scared

But....

I LOVE IT

Finger Painting

Finger Paint

Riley went to his Auntie and Uncles house and they surprised him with a new experience.

FINGER PAINT.

Riley had his first experience with finger painting and at first he did not know what to think he began to LOVE it and have fun.

Since he had a good time.......

I just had to go buy him paper and paint

so that we could paint more at home.

We had a lot of fun making hand prints togehter and getting messy.

Northwest Trek

A Fun day Out

We had a family day outing at Northwest Trek

Riley had so much fun walking around looking at the animals

and then riding the tram.

He had fun riding on Daddy's shoulder

and

Looking at the bears with Mommy

We saw more animals on the tram ride.

Riley was really good at finding the animals

and even spotted some before we saw them.

His favorite was the huge Bison.


We had a great day spending time together as a Family

Happy Mom's Day

In the morning we went to brunch at the Red Wing casino.

Most of the family was there.

The food was so yummy and we all ate so much.

After brunch Riley and I came home and played in the Sun

Dan got off early and joined us in the sun.

Riley gave me my gifts.
I got a very sweet card from Dan and one from Riley

And the best part....
I got my first special mothers day gift.

Riley made me
"mommy's magic wand"

He picked the monkey.
He also made me a card.

Last year Dan and Riley got me this tree for mothers day.
It is very special to me and I want to take a picture every year to see how it grows and how our family grows over the years.

Riley was so cute.

He ran right up to it and pointed and said

"nice tree"

I can't wait to take a picture with our family tree every year.

so when we heard Elmo was coming to town we just knew we had to bring the boys.

We meet Shannan, Sydney and Tyler.

All the kids had a great time and loved seeing

and all the other charachters.

The show was great and a lot of fun.

Even the mommy's had a great time

By the time the show was over the kids were exhusted.

And so were the mommy's.

They all got Sesame street soccer balls.

We went home and all took a nap.

Taylor and Lindsay had a beautiful wedding.

Dan was the best man and did a great job.

Lindsay was a beautiful bride and they were both glowing.

The cake was so pretty and Yummy too.

The DJ asked if he could take him to all his events.

He was so funny.

He had so many moves and when Boom Boom pow came on

he went crazy.

It is his favorite song.

Everyone was laughing so hard.

He had a great time eating cake and even enjoyed sucking on a lemon.

He got to dance with the Bride at the dollar dance

But.......

He wanted to keep the money and had a hard time giving it up.
