It was crazy seeing 2 cribs in one room. Making it feel more real that we are having 2 babies.

We have started the nursery. We have painted the room. The cribs and furniture is put up but we are still waiting on the bedding and all that goes with it. We are doing a Pirate theme and I am super excited. I just hope it comes soon because it is on back order. I have put everything away from the showers and have washed all the clothes and put them away. It was so weird folding the tiny baby clothes after folding Riley's. Made me think and start to get emotional that Riley is not a baby anymore. He is my BIG BOY.

Third Trimester

28.1 Weeks

Today we had an ultrasound to check on the babies and check my cervical length. The Boys look GREAT. Jack who is baby A weighs 3 lbs and Logan who is baby B weighs 2lbs 15 oz. I can not believe how big they are. Jack is Breech and Logan is transverse. This means I will have a C section for sure. They are measuring my cervical length to make sure I am not going into preterm labor. My cervix is nice and long and no signs of preterm labor. Woo hoo. I am doing well. I can't believe I am in the 3rd trimester already. This pregnancy is flying by and without any complications. I am also still working 4-6hr shifts and I am loving that I can maintain a normal life so far. Many other twins are but on bed rest by this time. Next ultrasound will be in a month.

Riley's babies

I was in the other room and I heard Riley calling for me, so I ran in to see what was wrong. He had his shirt pulled up and his belly exposed and said to me.
" Hurry mommy come here, my babies are kicking. you want to feel them"

How cute. He thinks he has 2 babies in his tummy just like me.
