The Big Climb
My Friend Shannan talked me and some other nurses into doing the big climb.
The big climb is an event benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
It is held at the Columbia Center in Seattle.
69 flights
1,311 Steps.
WOW
When I signed up I thought i was crazy, and there was no way I would be able to do it.
We practiced climbing the stairs at work.
When would reach the top we would fit fan poon(inside joke). and then do another flight.
The day of the climb I was very scared and did NOT feel prepared at all.
Our team was Team Tachy.
Everyone was so supportive.
Although I was terrified when we started, as I climbed the stairs and saw the pictures at each flight I was inspired and it kept me going.
I DID IT.
I made it all the way to the top.
Our whole team made it.
I am so proud of my team, my friends and most of all
MYSELF.
